Our first-ever hackathon hosted by FRC! Taking place from October 18th to Dec 4th, this 2 month-long hackathon will be entered around our theme: EDUCATIONBe creative with this as long as you can somehow justify how your project relates to the theme, anything is possible. You may use any platform and program(s) you're comfortable with. We will also be sharing TONS of low to no-code resources with you can throughout our meetings.

Join our EDSBY group FRC Hackathon Club and follow us on Instagram <@frc.hackathon>. Club meetings are on Tuesdays at lunch in lab 210. There will be a workshop held at each club meeting to help guide programmers of all levels.

Requirements

  • you may work in a group( maximum 4 people)
  • your project must be related to our theme: EDUCATION
  • you must present your project to the club
  • your code must be available in a public repository
  • your project may not consist of prior work you've done before the hackathon's start date (Oct. 18)

  • Adherence to Theme
    Submission must follow the theme.
  • Design
    How well thought out was the project? What factors did it take into account?
  • Functionality
    How technically sound is the project? Does it use good programming? What creative ways did you go about coding it?
  • Originality
    Did you put time and thought into the project? Or did you take heavy inspiration from projects done in the past?
  • Presentation
    How well were you able to communicate your project to the audience?
